I would like to make contact with decendants of George M. GADDIS, he is on the census of 1910 in Findlay City, Dist. 70, 2nd ward, Main St. He was age 41, and living with his Aunt (head of house) Amanda ERNENWEIN, and his mother, Hilda GADDIS, who was a sister to Amanda. I know that George had at last two children, daughters, Kaherine and Lola, I believe they lived in Roncevert, West Virginia. Seeking info on Dora (PULS?) ARMBRECHT, born about Oct 1830 in Germany. Came to USA sometime be tween 1847 & 1850. Her husband died in 1864 at Andersonville Prison. Children: Henrietta "Ada" Johanna ARMBRECHT born Sep 1854, Isaac ARMBRECHT born Feb 1857, Henry ARMBRECHT born May 1859, and Amanda ARMBRECHT born July 1861. All born in Findlay, Hancock County according to a Dr. Charles OSTERLEN, and Dr. James SPAYTH.

DAVIDSON; William B. and FREED, Mary C., Findley, OH, about 1885.  I'm looking for information on my ggrandfather William who married my ggrandmother Mary. He was known to her family as 'Doc'. He was a registered Pharmacist.  I have information on the FREED family but have hit a wall on tracing William. William and Mary had one son, born in Ratcliff, AR, and settled in Tamaha, I. T.  William died in 1906.  Don't know why they migrated out West.

John MCGHEE married Eliza MCKINNIS 3 Mar 1830 in Hancock Co., Liberty Twp. Bought 80 acres of land in Hancock Co. in 1837.

Seeking information on John THROUGH/THREW or anyone else with this surname.  John THROUGH and wife Anna SAMPSON were recorded in the 1860 census for Hancock Co., OH.  John was 28 and Anna was 27.  They were born in Pa.  They had 2 children: Emily and Mary.

Am seeking information on James SHELDON and wife Mary THROUGH.  James was b abt 1790 in Pa., Mary abt 1794 in Pa.  They had the following children: David, Mary Ann, James W., WIlliam T., Eli T., Manerva (?) and John.  They appear in the 1850 census for Hancock Co., OH.

AMRINE/POWERS ** Henry AMRINE married Cloe POWERS in 1820 in Madison Co. Ohio. They went back to Wayne/Richland (now Ashland Co.) before the 1820 census, then moved to Adams Co. Ohio.  When the Fed Govm't started selling land in Hancock Co. in the 1830's Henry and several siblings  purchased land and moved near Carey. This area later became Wyandot Co. Would like to share information on these families. Need Cloe's parents. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MONTROSE/MONTROSS WELDY/WELTY ** Ainsley MONTROSE married Belle WELDY in the 1870's Hancock Co. Ohio They later moved to Ind. Need information on Belle's parents. Ainsley was born in Canada, Belle in Ohio. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Does anyone know where the Church records are for the Lutheran Church that was  situated just off S.R. 15, near Carey in what was  Amanda Twp. Hancock Co.? (Church is gone, cemetery is still there.)

I am looking for information on George Henry HOAKS, George Washington HOAKS and Hanna JOHNSON.  George Henry HOAKS is the son of George Washington HOAKS and Hanna JOHNSON.  George Henry HOAKS was born August 5th, 1871 in Findlay, Ohio.  Other children to George Washinton HOAKS and Hanna JOHNSON-HOAKS include Jacob Philmore HOAKS, Sarah HOAKS (born in Marysville, Ohio), and Bert HOAKS (don't know any information on him). George Washinton HOAKS was born in Marion, Ohio.  Any Birth records or Marriage records you can find would be GREATLY appreciated!  I am just starting my family tree and I am having difficulty finding info on the HOAKS of OHIO.

Seek info on the family of Dr. Amos S. WILLIAMS of Fostoria, who was      born 19 Dec 1823 Fairfield Co, OH, son of George WILLIAMS and Elsie      SWAYSIE.  He married 1853 Sarah R. McGOWAN.  According to the 1886      History of Seneca County, they had two children living at that time:      Dr. Linnaeus G. WILLIAMS (born 23 Oct 1855 W. Independence, Hancock      Co; died 24 Sept 1900 Fostoria, OH) and John H. WILLIAMS.  In an 1888      obituary, a "cousin" Dr. Williams of Fostoria was in attendance at the      funeral of Ammi WILLIAMS Jr. of Fremont, Sandusky Co, OH.  Thanks, Al.

BEARD -  Looking for information on the Edward BEARD family who lived in Hancock, Co. during the 1860's and later.  Edward and wife Mary BUSH were from York, Co., Pa.  They had two children:  Lewis and Thomas.
