HAMMEL, John Hugh b. abt 1846. There was a Hammel family in the Findley area. I am hoping that John was a part of this family. I know he was in Illinois and married by 1866.

SMITH, born and died in 1857. He then married Emma A. BAILS on January 01, 1890, had a daughter Bertha SMITH who married Lee DORN, 2 sons, Abraham Lincoln SMITH, (my father) born March 08, 1891, married Georgia Irene BURMAN on January 02, 1928, She was born April 17, 1909, died April 03, 1989, and John Wesley SMITH, born April 25, 1895, died February 10, 1987, married Hulda BRYNER, born Sept. 06, 1902, died December 1985. Seeking info on the family of Jesse and Elizabeth WHEELER. Both were born in York Co, PA. They had 9 children: William H. 1826, James Jackson 1828, Oliver Perry 1830, Adam 1833, Edward Smith 1835, all born in PA. The following were all born in Findley, Hancock CO, John Wesley 1839, Mary Jane 1842, Samuel 1845, and Jesse JR 1849. Jesse SR died in Hancock Co 1883, and Elizabeth died there in 1871. Jesse SR was married a second time to Barbara FURGUSON, 6 Feb 1876, Hancock Co. Any help would be great. Thanks

HAHN; Hancock Co., Ohio, USA; 1815-1882. Margaret HAHN, born in Hanover Germany, immigrated to USA sometime prior to c. 1840. She and her husband, Peter JACOBS, a native of Alsace-Lorraine, appear in the 1850 Federal Census in Wayne County, Ohio, with 4 children ranging in age from 9 months to 11 years. Margaret lived the rest of here life in Wayne County and was buried at West Salem Cemetery, West Salem, Ohio. Family lore has been that Margaret and her family were from the Findlay, Ohio area. I'm looking for information that would confirm her ties to Hancock County as well as lead me to information regarding her parents and specific place of birth. Thanks for your help.

Can anyone help? Despite my utter lack of knowledge of this Clement FALTER and family, I have extensive FALTER info to exchange, to include genealogy to the 1600s, and printed family history.

Looking for any information for Lydia CROUSE. 1860 census shows Lydia as seamstress and daughter Mary CROUSE with her. The military records of George Washington CROUSE states "Effects to be sent to Lydia CROUSE CLEMENS c/o P. O. Hancock, Ohio." We can find no trace of her after that except for a quit claim deed in 1878. Can you help us?

Seeking information on Reuben STOTTS who lived in Hancock County from 1881-1882. Reuben STOTTS was born in 1806 in Jefferson Co., Ohio. He lived most of his adult life in Ripley, Huron Co. Ohio. He is actually supposed to have died in Hancock Co. and been tranasported to Huron for burial. Were there other STOTTS' in the area? Any information on any STOTTS' from Hancock Co., would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for relatives of Conrad FLAUGHERand Sara Ann Weaver who lived in North Baltimore, Wood Co. They were killed in a wagon accident in 1871. Their daughter Ida my grandmother came to live with her uncle George WEAVER in Kosciusko, IN. Conrad was born in 1840 (the 12th child of Jacob FLAUGHER and Elizabeth BROTHERS). Conrad's other b&s are Miranda, Albert, Jacob, Lydia, Elizabeth, John, Clark, Susannah, Louisa, Sarah, Minerva, Emery David, and Almira. I have a family picture taken approx 1901/1902 which says taken in "McComb" which is in Hancock Co. (can identify Ida and her husband Charles Merrick and several of their children.) Can you help identify rest? Can send picture email or snail mail.
