EWING, VANKARSEN posted by John Mengel on Saturday, June 12, 1999

A Charles R. EWING presumably was born in McComb either on 4 Sep 1882 or on 24 Sep 1882. He may have had a sister, Flora. Do not know the names of his parents. According to the 1910 and 1920 censuses, he was living in Bellevue, Ohio with wife, Agnes S., and working for the Nickel Plate RR. Could find no record of him in the 1900 census. After a divorce, or the death of Agnes, he married my maternal grandmother, Zelma VANKARSEN in Toledo on 26 Oct 1931. Charles Ewing died in Long Beach, California in June, 1966. I would like to find information about his parents and his siblings, and would be happy to pay any reasonable costs for the search.
