EDGAR,William Dickie married Martha LYONS on 7 Oct 1851 in Portage Township, Hancock Cty Ohio. He was born 5 Dec 1827 in Clark Cty Ohio.Martha was born 9 Aug 1833 in Harrison Cty Ohio. Would like information on who their parents were and names and dates of any siblings if possible.

Need the parents for Absalom Abraham BISH-b.1861-29 Jul 1909 in Findlay, buried in Maple Grove Cemetery. He married Sarah KRAUSE (CROUSE?) and they had 6 kids- 1.Grace V. BISH (Riffle/Smith) 2. Stanley BISH 3. Rev. Clarence BISH 4. Eva BISH 5. Zarata (Zoretta?) BISH (Zehender) and 6. John Edward BISH. Most of the family stayed in the Findlay area.

Searching for information on family of Zacharias INSLEY who died in Hancock County 9 Aug 1891.He was born in Jefferson County, OH on 15 Sep 1812 and was married to Esther SOWARDS, place unknown and had the following children: Robert; Isaac; Mamcy; Martin Van Buren; Phoebe Jane; Samantha; Elizabeth; Jason; Fayette; Milton; Mary Louisa and Amos A. He lived in Seneca County at least through 1841 before migrating to Hancock County.

Looking for Jacob DICK, born 1830, died 1870. Don't know name of wife, but he named his son Edgar - could that be a maiden name of wife? Jacob mar'd 2nd, Victoria DEMARS. He died at Fostoria. She mar'd Henry MORAN - no further record. Son Edgar born at Findlay, went to an uncle's in MN, mar'd Rose KEMP 1884

I am looking for information on Eli METZ (g grandfather) and his wife, Sarah SWIHART Metz, listed in the 1850 census of Hancock County, Biglick Township. They are listed as having one child, Elizabeth (Jane), 5 months old. Later children included my grandfather Quinter James Metz born (near Defiance County, OH February 13, 1855 and reportedly came to Missouri as a lad of 16 years). I am trying to find out if Eli and Sarah Metz came to Missouri from Ohio, or if my grandfather Quinter James Metz came to Missouri on his own. Any Metz information connected with the above names would be appreciated. Thank you.

I am searching for information on William Pleas FOX (born: 11 Jul 1842 in Knox Co., KY). I have always heard that he grew up and lived his whole life in Knox Co, KY, but I recently found this posting on another site: William Pleas FOX b.7/11/1842 KY d.2/23/1897 m. Ella Catherine CHARLES source: 1860 Ohio Census for Liberty Township, Hancock County Is this inferring that the census has marriage records? Is this a separate Census from the national one? Does anyone know how I (living in Texas) can see or get a copy of this census?

Carrie had two brothers BOWERSOX, Elroy b. 11/14/1876 Madison Township, Hancock County, Ohio and BOWERSOX, Edward. She also had a sister Ida BOWERSOX b. 8/18/1880 in Union Township, Hancock County, Ohio and d. 6/23/1885. DIETZEL, William E. is the son of John W. DIETZEL b. 11/5/1853 d. 11/1/1927 in Mt. Clemens, MI. John was married in New York on 1/26/1876 spouses name unknown. William had two brothers DIETZEL, Arthur b. 6/15/74 in Sandusky, Ohio d. 11/17/51 in Detroit, MI m. 1/26/1876 to Cornelia A. Wise. And DIETZEL, Chet. John W. DIETZEL is beleived to be the son of DIETZEL, Peter who immigrated from Germany possibly to the Hancock-Sandusky-Findlay area of Ohio.
