My mother, Ester Maxine was born 27 May 1915 in Findlay, OH. She has 2 sisters and 1 brother I know of. There names are Louisa, Madeline, and John. There could be more brothers and sisters I am not aware of. My mother said the family migrated from PA but I don't know the town. Louisa lived all her life in Findlay I believe. Her husband was named Oren (I think) but I don't know the last name. Madeline married Andrew or Andy Picard and they lived in Ny. John died at a early age from some undetermined cause. I am not sure if he was living in Findlay at the time. He was married but I don't know his wife's name. My grandmother died when my mother was a litter girl. I have no information on her father. My mother married George Lamar GAUTREAUX (my father) but I don't know when or where. They lived in Detroit Mi and moved to Dearborn, MI. In about 1957 we moved to Florida. Both my mother and father died in Sebring, FL. Other then this I have no other information. I would appreciate any information you can provide.

Mary Frances (ROBINSON) MCCAULEY married ?? McCauley. Mary was a daughter of John & Hannah (TRUAX) ROBINSON. She was born October 17, 1881, possibly in Jackson Co., WV. She lived in Wellsville, Ohio with her children. She had several children, Sylvia, Roxie, Helen, Ruth, and Harvey were some of the children. Looking for family to share information.

I am descended from William FOUNTAIN, born Jan 9, 1784, Caroline Co., MD, died June 14, 1878, Findlay, Hancock Co., Ohio. I have copies of his two marriage licenses - both in Maryland - but am unable to establish his family in Maryland. There are so many Fountains, and so many Williams. ALSO, I am descended from his son Archibald Thomas FOUNTAIN, born August 21, 1825, Franklin Co,, Ohio, who married Elizabeth M. GEORGE October 21, 1847, Findlay. The problem - I cannot find the family of her father, Andrew GEORGE. Her parents, Andrew George, b. May 20, 1799 at ??, died May 20, 1849, Findlay, Hancock Co., Ohio and Susan (Susannah) VOGT were married at the Vogt homestead, east of New Berlin, PA. Any information on either family will be welcome. Of course, I will exchange info.

I am currently searching for information on Catharine CROWL b-1831 in Hancock Co. to Daniel & ???? CROWL. I can't find any information. Catharine married Isaac BUSSARD in 1850 & I think moved to Illinois, Livingston Co. but really not sure. I have been trying to find were her parents are from also. In 1835 Absolom HOGE had about about 400 acres of land claims in Hancock County that are recorded in BLM records. I am trying to obtain more information on this individual - also a possible brother, Craven HOGE who aquired 150 A.

I am serching for a John MCKINLEY Born 1801 in Westmoreland Cty. PA, married Maria (Mary Ann MARSHALL) and died 3-20-1882 in Hancock Cty., Ohio. They had 11 children: William, James, Rachel, Oliver, Lydia J.(I), Robert, John H., Elizabeth, Lydia(II), Hannah and Mary. I have marriage information for Oliver and Hannah, but can't find any info on the rest. I am also looking for information on John's parents.

I am looking for any information on the WOLFORD, SASS, COPUS and YOAKAM families. The WOLFORD family originally had the name of Wolf but was changed by a runaway named JOHN WOLF(ORD) (1827-1877) who married Martha Jane DENNIS. The SASS family originated, probably, in Ohio. I am looking for the origins and possible deffinition of the name COPUS. The YOAKAM family came to Ohio in the early 1800's from Virginia; I am looking for the ancestors of a Mr. MICHAEL YOAKAM (1757-1825) who was born in Randolf Cty. (now West) Virginia an married Drusilla Stump in 1776. Thank You,

Looking for records for James FINCH, born 2/4/1782 in Greenwich, CT, arrived in Scipio Township, Hancock County about 1834, died in Hancock County, date unknown. Wife' s name was Rosetta. No other info available. James was the father of Ballana FINCH of Seneca County and the father or my great-great grandfather Arad FINCH born in Seneca County 10/19/1827 and died in Perrysburg, 3/26/1899. Any info would be appreciated, especially gravesite.

My grandfather, Frank CIMRAL, lived in Findlay at 716 Cherry Street in 1897. His mother, my great-grandmother, died at about that same time. Is Marie Hosek CIMRAL (Czech name was CMIRAL) buried in Hancock County?

I am looking for the parents of Benjamin RUNNION and Harriet HERSHEY. The only information I have is they were married October 28,1869 in Hancock Co. I think they both came from Pennsylvania. They had a daughter who is my grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth RUNYON or RUNYAN and she married William John LAUCK in 1890 in Findlay, Ohio. An article I have says Sarah was born July 14, 1872 on the Byal Farm south of Findlay. She died July 1945. Thank you.
